I live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, (about 45 minutes west of Toronto) in my dream loft in a renovated factory. I've been a graphic designer for 14 years now and I work happily at home on my Mac computer. I began selling my font designs online in 2002 with my company, Typadelic, and soon discovered that my fonts integrated very well with scrapbooking.
I started paper scrapbooking in 2003 and always designed my pages on my computer first so I didn't make mistakes with expensive supplies. It occurred to me that I didn't have to use supplies at all...I could just print out my completed layouts on my inkjet printer. I then decided to try my hand at designing some digital papers and elements and found that my graphic design background was well-suited to scrapbook designs. I started Scrapadelic.com as place to showcase my designs and recently opened it as a shop where I sell my work exclusively.
Scrapbooking has added a very colourful dimension to my life and has allowed me to meet some truly wonderful people. It has also afforded me the chance to work from home and has opened the door to some fantastic business opportunities.
